Starting from her kitchen table in 2014, Nancy built Nan and Company Properties into one of Houston’s top 10 brokerages, transforming it into a powerhouse of luxury real estate. With over 20 years of experience, her visionary leadership has led the firm to grow by more than 40% annually, driven by a commitment to excellence, bespoke service, and unmatched client satisfaction. Nancy’s influence extends beyond real estate; she is a dedicated community leader. Nan Cares, the philanthropic arm of Nan and Company Properties, is committed to giving back and supporting charitable initiatives. One of its key annual events is a Christmas toy drive that provides toys for an entire school. Nan Cares has also supported communities impacted by hurricanes by donating water and resources. Additionally, Nancy and her team have been involved in major philanthropic events such as serving as the presenting sponsor for Sky High For Kids’ Ladies Who Brunch, a mission dedicated to ending childhood cancer and supporting families of children battling the disease. Nancy and her husband, Jose Almodovar, were honored as recipients of The City of Houston Mayor’s Volunteer Community Engagement Appreciation Award for their outstanding contributions to the community.

In line with this passion, Nancy founded Women In PowHER, an organization focused on creating a community of strong, independent, and like-minded women. Through Women In PowHER, Nancy has hosted multiple events where top industry leaders share their insights, success strategies, and valuable tips, building a space for women to connect, learn, and grow together.
